The idea for the event series HAY CUT evolved 2014 out of the first festival SOHO in Ottakring in the area of Sandleiten. We, Elisabeth Drucker, Stefan Peter and Andi Pianka, residents of Sandleitenhof, were suddenly aware that a local place for cultural exchange was missing.
As the framework conditions are almost "on the doorstep" thanks to SOHO in Ottakring, we use this structure and space as a cultural meeting place collaboratively and we invite local artists to publicly show and discuss their artwork or performances.
