Bank Austria Art Award goes to SOHO IN OTTAKRING
Am 15. Februar 2013 wurde der diesjährige Bank Austria Kunstpreis in der Kategorie „Regionale Initiativen“ an Soho in Ottakring verliehen. Anlaß war das 13. Kunstfestival Soho in Ottakring, das 2012 dem Thema „Destabilized Ground / Unsichers Terrain“ gewidmet war. Soho in Ottakring wurde 1999 als erstes und einziges kontinuierlich im öffentlichen urbanen Raum stattfindende Kunstfestival Wiens gegründet. In 2019 and 2020, the main topic of SOHO in Ottakring will be: "Let's get to the point! About freedom of expression and the struggle for it." In October 2019 SOHO in Ottakring will exhibit positions of the four artists Karolina Breguła, Miklós Erhardt, Lena Lapschina and Hansel Sato in the Old Cinema of the Sandleitenhof.
